ABOUT US
INSTITUTE FOR SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT

ISED i s an institute with three main missions :

Empowering - to link its support system to improve peoples welfare

Incubation - to realize the ideas with down to earth approach

Implementation - to play a technology fountain head for industrial growth

ISED would endeavour to provide S&T based solutions to mitigate the vulnerability and improve the quality of life especially for the weaker and disadvantaged sections of the society

Policy

ISED is committed to lever its relevant knowledge base and S&T core ompetence and establish new linkages and partnership by providing technological support for basic human needs of the people living in rural areas

Area of Focus

Majority of people live in villages and there is a need to improve the quality of life in such places. This would call for significant technological interventions in many areas, such as water, shelter, energy, environment, health, food, farm and non farm sectors.

The development in such areas would only be sustainable when it is linked to the development of the people by employing them gainfully in the overall endeavours and activities (job creation through technologies).
